Design and Usibility Issues

There was going to be some review by another site designer for esthetics's, human factors and ease of use - did that happen? Many of these issues are related to the overall design.

• Contact us is getting span - should have a captcha (Existing issue?): DONE
• Edit for wiki page should be called "Edit" not "view source" - unknown why this was changed.
• There should be a way to join projects (from a list) on the profile. This should include all moderated and open projects/groups.  What do you mean by join Projects on the profile?
• Project page could have a link to a list of all projects that are not hidden.
  When you say Project page could have a link to all projects that are not hidden - is this similar to the block listing member's other projects in left panel talked in next bullet below?
• Navigation between projects is poor - instead of "HOME" button in projects, lets have a block in the left panel that has HOME, Profile and the members projects - so you can get to any of your content from anyplace. 

General

• Help "expander" is not obvious - help should just be a button
• Images should not be "re shaped" to fit in blocks - use image aspect ratio.  This applies to all image display. Can you please explain where it is done? We have used imagecache everywhere.
• There are still rendering issues in some browsers, such as IE 6/7
• Wiki pages should have comments (at least 3) below the page and a link to all comments - not in "talk", talk is another concept. Can the link to all comments take the user to talk page as essentially thats where all comments are being posted.

Front page

• Slider header font is still poor (low resolution or something).
• RSS Feed should provide options about the scope of the feed, project/site wide, forum, etc.
• Projects page is really "featured Projects" and should have a way to list all public projects.

 Profile

• Post new blog entry should be on the profile page (obviously, only for that person). It is present on individual's "profile" page. The text says: "Click to add new blg". Correct?
• Blog posts should be most recent first
• Links to the site configuration page are in odd places, perhaps just in the profile of an admin? Are you referring to the Control Panel link?
• Should have a way to subscribe to EVERYTHING on the profile - all root content and projects they are a member of.
• Activity of friends is not being shown in your feeds.
• Create group should be on a users profile. Should I add a link saying 'Create a new Group' below my postings.
• User should be able to specify their friendly URL, just use full name as default.

New User

• Most Projects are not being shown on create user page - there was an option to list a project on the login page, but I can't find it anymore.

Projects/Groups

• A project/group can have more than one admin - how is one added or removed? (Existing issue?)
• All content of a private group should be limited to the members of the group. (Existing issue)
• There is nothing to manage the project assets, it should be independent of users profile (all lists should have a maintenance page - existing issue)
• "Project Forms" should say "Recent Forum Posts"
• Groups should not require a logo or have a default
• A group should have a forum for that group - probably just one, with recent activity on the groups page.
• Groups should have external web links
• Group member list do not render correctly, has holes in the list.  Should have a link to the entire list.
• Users should not have the option to list groups in project directory
• Owner of group should be able to delete their group

WISIWYG Editor

• Styles still do not show normal HTML styles or allow us to add some others.  The ones in there don't all do what you would expect. (Long standing issue)
• The spell checker option has never been enabled (Existing issue-done) DONE
• Pasting HTML content into the wiki does not work (see http://portal.modeldriven.org/node/347/edit), or, alllow normal HTML page
• WISIWYG is not always WISIWYG
• Copy/paste does odd things - moves you around in the document and re formats.
