source folders | SoaML Cartridge

Why are there more than 1 source solders in the generated projects? That's their purpose?

'user.src' is where custom

'user.src' is where custom code or overrides should be placed. The 'cartridge.src' folder is for technology specific generated and non-generated artifacts and related utilities, relevant technologies being JAX-WS, XML-Schema, JAXB, etc... The 'gen.src' folder is centered on the messaging and information models and related utilities.
