I'm not sure I do understand this.
I think there is a little thing that everyone seems to ignore when talking about executable models.
Most of the models done in UML (for instance) are composed of Components, Classes, DataTypes, etc. In my experience very few are describing the instances.
And I do not know how to execute types.
I think there is a little work to do somewhere to fill the gap.
