Jim Amsden is a Senior Technical Staff Member with IBM having over 20 years of experience in designing and developing applications and tools for the software development industry. He holds and Masters in Computer Science from Boston University. His interest include Enterprise Architecture, contract based development, agent programming, business driven development, JEE, UML, and service-oriented architectures. He is co-author of "Enterprise Java Programming with IBM WebSphere". His current focus is on finding ways to integrate tools to better support agile development processes. Jim is currently responsible for developing IBM Rational’s Enterprise Architecture strategy and tool support.
